Contest for the dirtiest Car

If you think your car is filthy, take a picture of it and send it in.

A $25 (car wash) gift card will be given to the winner

Start sending in your pictures, February 1st to canyonlandsactivities@gmail.com.

Make sure you put your name with it.

Last day to send in pictures is February 15 and voting will begin on our blog, dixistudenthousing.blogspot.com, on February 16.

Last day to vote will be February 21.

The winner will be announced on the blog on February 22.

Tell your neighbors, your friends, and your family to go to the blog and vote.

Canyonlands Apartments reserves the right to cancel the Photo Contest or change these rules at anytime. If there is ever a change in the rules or contest information, it will first be posted on the blog and then you will be notified by email.


Photo submissions become property of Canyonlands Apartments and will possibly be used in future advertising.

Canyonland's Photo Contest

Rules for Canyonlands Photo Contest

Important: Please read the complete rules before submitting your entries. If you have any questions, you can email us at manager@dixiestudenthousing.com

1. Each tenant can only submit one photo.
2. The photo must be your original work.
3. Photos must have the entrant in them wearing their Canyonlands shirt.
4. There is no cost to enter.
5. Any inappropriate or suggestive photos will be disqualified.
6. IMAGES MUST BE IN JPG FORMAT, LARGEST DIMENSION SHOULD NOT EXCEED 100kb.
7. All photos require an attached paragraph no longer than 150 words, describing your favorite experience at Canyonlands apartments. (The photo does not necessarily need to be related to your favorite experience. )
8. You submit your photo and experience by emailing canyonlandsactivities@gmail.com - to ensure that the essay is credited to you:

a)      Your name needs to be in the SUBJECT line. 

b)      Please attach only one photo.

c)      Write your essay in the body of the email.

9. You may begin posting photos Tuesday, February 1. Entries must be submitted by 12:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
10. Voting starts Wednesday, February 23 after 6:00 p.m. on our blog dixiestudenthousing.blogspot.com.  Only one vote per IP address will be allowed per contest. Voting will end on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at midnight. Winner will be declared Friday, March 4th  on our blog. 
11. GRAND PRIZE - $250 credit towards rent given to the tenant with the most votes.

Hot Dog Roast!

Brrrrrrr, it's cold outside!  
Come on over to the Canyonland's firepit 
and get warm by the fire.  

There will be hot dogs for roasting, 
and drinks to quench your thirst.   

When, you ask?: Thursday, January 27th from 6-8 p.m.
